BIOGRAPHY

After years of reporting the news, Vince Bevacqua now helps Prodigal Media Company clients make news on their own terms.  Before coming to Prodigal as Vice President for Media and Public Relations, Vince spent 15 years working as an anchor and reporter at television stations in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Youngstown, OH.  

Vince was the main anchor at WYTV (ABC) channel 33 in Youngstown for 8 years.   His duties included anchoring the weekday evening newscasts, special reporting (especially during ratings periods), hosting a daily, live talk show (“For the People” on sister station MyYtv) and special programming such as the MDA telethon, on-location news magazine shows and political debates.  Vince was also responsible for special appearances and other public relations efforts that benefited the station.

As a journalist, Vince had a reputation for keen news instincts and excellent writing and presentation skills.  As a public relations professional, Vince provides clients with strategic media relations counsel, access to news coverage based on solid relationships with area reporters and editors, crisis public relations services and more.

Vince has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fitchburg State College (Fitchburg, MA) and attended the graduate school program for Mass Communication / Broadcast Journalism at Emerson College in Boston, MA.
