790-Store Chain taps Valley Agency to Develop National Campaign
Rentway, one of America’s leading rental-purchase companies with 790 stores in 34 states, has
selected The Prodigal Media Company, Inc., of Poland, Ohio to develop creative concepts for its
2006 national TV campaign.
Prodigal Media’s assignment includes providing concept development and scripting for Rentway’s
campaign. The campaign is built upon the company’s “We Are Family” theme, and utilizes the music
of the song of the same name made famous by the musical group, Sister Sledge.
"Prodigal Media’s overall level of creative excellence and proven expertise in the rent-to-own
category are primary reasons for our selecting them for this critical assignment," states Roger
Zwingler, Vice-President of Marketing and Advertising for Rentway, which is headquartered in Erie, PA.
